Care & Application Guide
Surface Preparation
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from oil, dust, or grease
- Wipe with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) for best adhesion results
- Allow the surface to dry completely before application
- Apply at room temperature (15–25°C) for optimal bonding
Application Steps
- Carefully peel the label from its backing sheet
- Position on the prepared surface — adhesive bonds quickly on contact
- Press firmly from the centre outward to remove trapped air
- Apply even pressure across the entire label for 30 seconds
- Allow 24–48 hours for full adhesive bond strength
Avoid
- Applying in extreme cold or heat
- Touching the adhesive surface with fingers
- Applying to wet, oily, or dusty surfaces
- Repositioning after initial placement
Storage & Best Practices
- Store labels flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
- Use within 12 months of purchase for best results
- Test on a small area first if unsure about surface compatibility
- Contact us for advice on difficult or unusual surfaces
Suitable Surfaces
Our labels adhere to most smooth, clean surfaces including metal, plastic, glass, painted surfaces, powder-coated finishes, and polished wood. For rough, textured, or low-energy surfaces, we recommend our High Tack adhesive range.
